A Celebration of Life for Deacon Willie Edward (W.E.) Walker Sr., 102, of Milledgeville, will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, commencing at 11 a.m. (mask required) at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 657 Old Monticello Road, N.W. Milledgeville. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation with family will be on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, 950 N. Clark Street Milledgeville.
Deacon Walker was a lifelong member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church serving on the deacon board. He retired from Baldwin County Board of Education after 30 years of dedicated service.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Walsetta (Cedric) Miller of Gray; one son, Willie Edward (Vanessa) Walker Jr. of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Cedric Andre Miller Jr., Lauren Elizabeth Miller, and Kyle Edward Walker; special niece, Fifina (Larry) Stephens of Milledgeville and a loving host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
