Wanda  Brown
Wanda Sullivan Brown, 94, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Black Springs Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Boyd Dennard officiating.
Brown was born in Chandler, Okla., but had made her home in Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Isaac and Hattie Caroline Lynch Sullivan; her husband, Rufus Eugene Brown; a son, Robert Eugene Brown; and 11 siblings, including her twin sister Wanna Lou Carter.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Peeler (Al); her son, David Alan Brown (Carol); and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Dawson Brown, all of Milledgeville; six grandchildren: Bob Brown (Kensley), Jim Brown (Brandi), Jason Brown (Becky), Laurie Tyson (Craig), Jeremy Peeler (Jessica) and Josh Peeler (Farrer); and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
