Milledgeville - Tashia McCullar Branan, 65, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3 at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Rogers and Justin Raley of-ficiating. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

Tashia was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on Dec. 18, 1959, to the late Charles Lanier McCullar and Barbara Joan Newsome McCullar. She was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville and a graduate of John Milledge Academy. She was retired from JCPenney. Tashia was a talented artist and spent many hours painting bird houses. She truly loved the Lord and her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Cason "Casey" Lanier Branan; her father, Charles McCullar, and grandparents, Charlie and Jewell McCullar.

Survivors include her husband, David Scott Branan of Milledgeville; a daughter, April Branan Raley (Justin) of Milledgeville; her mother, Joan Newsome McCullar of Milledgeville; and two grand-children Chase Allen Raley and Hannah Marie Raley.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
