Shirley  McDade
Shirley Osborne McDade, 89, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Waers officiating. Burial will follow at West View Cemetery.
Ms. Shirley was a native of Hancock County but had made her home in Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Hopkins Arnold and Mozelle Osborne Arnold; her husband, Ralph Roscoe McDade; a son, Stan McDade; and great granddaughter, Brittany Massey. She was a member of Northridge Christian Church. Ms. Shirley loved God, her family and friends, the Georgia Bulldogs, and cooking great meals for everyone.
Survivors include three daughters, Susie Massey (Mike), Becky Greene (Mark) and Sally Couey (Ricky) all of Milledgeville; two sisters, Dot Hussey of Linton and Ellen Huckelbury of Edmond, Okla.; grandchildren, Christie Phillips, Ronnie Rozier, Mike Massey Jr., Scott Rozier, Kim McLaulin (Robb), Tiffany Laster (Tyler), great grandchildren, Kale, Adam, Peyton, Brooklyn, Ashlan, Will, Phoebe, Huck, Mila and Heidi, and a special niece Wanda Chambers (Gary) of Blairsville, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 3 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.

Keeping all of the McDade family in thought and prayer. Ms. Shirley was a wonderful lady with a beautiful spirit who meant a lot to me and my family. She will be missed by so many. Praying for peace and comfort for you all.
