Milledgeville, Georgia - Funeral services for Mr. Roy Arthur "Bubba" Garrett Jr. age 77 of Milledgeville will be conducted Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 2 P.M. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Glover officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Garrett was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, the son of the late Roy A. Garrett Sr. and Dorothy Lindsey Garrett and was predeceased by a sister, Donna Conley.

Mr. Garrett was retired from Georgia Pacific as a millright and was a volunteer fireman with Baldwin County Fire Department and a member of Hopewell Methodist Church. Mr. Garrett served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam as a SGT.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Sanders Garrett; daughter, Stacey (Wade) Elliott of Ivey; son, Kelly (Brittany) Garrett of Milledgeville; sister, Betty Faye Corley Governdale of Florida; grandchildren, Bobby Elliott and McKenzie Hartley of Jones County, Emma Bare of Milledgeville and Braxton Stoops of Winder; great grandchildren, Westin Hartley and Wrenlee Hartley.
