Reverend Timothy Thompkins of Eatonton, Georgia died Thursday, January 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John A.M.E. Church, 311 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia. Reverend Harriet Camp will render the Eulogy.

The viewing will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Reverend Timothy Thompkins' residence on 115 E. Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, Georgia.

The family will meet and greet friends at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the St. John A.M.E. Church on Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia.

Rev. Thompkins was born in Eatonton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Rev. John T. Thompkins and the late Mrs. Aquilla Inez Farley Thompkins.

Rev. Thompkins is survived by three sons, Nasser (Chenetta) Thompkins, Quince Thompkins, both of Eatonton, Georgia and Patrick (Sharon) Thompkins of Covington, Georgia.

Rev. Thompkins was preceded in death by two children, Lisa Laverne Thompkins and Timothy Uta Thompkins.

Hurt's Funeral Home of Eatonton is in charge of final arrangements.
