Funeral services for Mr. Raymond (Keith) Estes, 55, will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Montpelier Methodist Church with Pastor Patrick McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

Mr. Raymond (Keith) Estes was a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and had made his home in Milledgeville, Georgia for most of his life.

He was an engineer employed by WSP. Growing up, he and his family were devout members of Montpelier Methodist Church, where he was also baptized. Prior to his passing, he and his wife attended New City at The Mill.

Keith was truly one of a kind; he was an industrial engineer who was proficient at auto repair, carpentry, welding, as well as network services. He was a kind and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a wonderful family man; a lover of adventure, travel and animals. He was a born again evangelical Christian who loved Christ, reading the Bible, and studying Biblical history. He was willing to share his faith and gladly gave Bibles to anyone who desired one.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia O'Leary Estes; parents, Joe and Liz Duncan Estes; brother, Joe Estes Jr. and wife Tina; niece, Lisha Johnson and husband Timothy; son, Brandon Franklin, wife Cynthia, and grandchildren Kylee, Conner, Cooper, Cullen, Easton and Archer and a number of other relatives, friends, and his four fur babies who were dearly loved. Keith was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Franklin, Edmon Duncan, Dale Millican, Michael O'Leary, Patrick O'Leary and Daniel O'Leary.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to either Montpelier Methodist Church or New City at the Mill.

Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Milledgeville is in charge of arrangements.
