Webster, Texas - Ralph Thomas Shaw, 81, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, in Webster, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at First Baptist Church Milledgeville with thhe Rev. Dr. Gary Abbott and the Rev. Dr. Jeff Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

Tom was born in Marietta, Georgia on March 27, 1943, to the late Ralph Nolan Shaw and Mary George Walthall Shaw. After his retirement from the United States Army, he and his wife Gwen made their home in Milledgeville. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Gwendolyn Collins Shaw of League City, Texas; his daughter, Leanne Shaw Skinner (Michael) of Friendswood, Texas; two sons, Michael Shaw (Lisa) and Steven Shaw both of Wilmington, N. Carolina; grandchildren, Ryan Skinner, Alex Skinner and Matthew Skinner (Theresa) of Houston, Texas, Sienna Shaw of Fairfax, Virginia and Teagan Jones of Wilmington, N. Carolina; a brother-in-law, Rye Ramsey of Milledgeville; and a sister-in-law Judy Shaw of Marietta.

The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church.
