Milledgeville, Georgia - Patricia West Smith (Nonnie), 79, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024. A family graveside was held at

10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating.

Mrs. Smith was born in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late Howard Sibley West and Mary Sue

Hawthorne West. She was a 1962 graduate of Baldwin County High School. She lived the majority of her life in the Atlanta area where she worked for the Gwinnett County Board of Education. After retirement she moved to Lake Sinclair. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas "Tommy" Smith, and a daughter, Shellie Polimeni.

Survivors include her son Bryan Smith, (Pam) of Milledgeville; her daughter, Melanie Wilson (Bryan)

of Dacula; a brother, Johnny West of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Reghan Polimeni, Landen Vanderford, Courtney Smith, Lauren Smith, Casey Wilson, Drew Miller-Wilson and Morgan Wilson.
