Funeral services for MSG William Myrick USA (Ret) will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, from Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home Inc. with interment to follow in Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. MSG Myrick passed away on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, in an Augusta, Ga., hospital. Survivors include his sisters, Mrs. Ethel Bell Lockett of Milledgeville and Mrs. Mary Jean Ford of McIntyre; brothers, Mr. Freddie Lee Myrick of Massachusetts, Mr. Prince Edward Myrick of Milledgeville and Mr. Frank James Myrick of Macon; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives. Friends may visit the family at the residence of Mrs. Ethel B. Lockett, 1041 W. Charlton St., Milledgeville. Words of sympathy may be expressed at www.slatersfuneralhomeinc.com.
