Eatonton, Georgia - Margaret Ware, 87, of Eatonton, known as Jane to everyone who knew her, passed away at her residence on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. Jane was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on March 31, 1932, to the late Hollie and Stella Sprague Dame. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Eatonton and she loved spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held at First United Methodist church on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at 1 p.m. in the Great Hall, a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the historic sanctuary.
Jane is survived by her son, David Thompson, and daughter, Cindy Thompson; grandchildren, David R. Thompson, Jennifer Thompson, Holly Ann Gamradt, Julie Franco, Randal McClure, Jill Thompson and Carly Thompson; also survived by 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for living plants or a memorial donation to First United Methodist Church.
