Margaret Irwin Bartles Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Irwin Bartles, 90, will be conducted Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, in the Warren Baptist Church in Augusta with the Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Davis and the Rev. Roger Bennett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Warren Baptist Church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Bartles was a native of Neosho, Missouri, and lived in Evans, Georgia for most of her life and lived in Milledgeville for the past year.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Bartles; her parents, William Irwin and Elizabeth Davis Irwin Sturdivant; a grandchild, Chelsea Bartles; brother, John Irwin, and sister, Donna Cherry.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy Bartles Sammons (David) of Milledgeville; Sharon Bartles Eliason (Karl) of Warner Robins; sons, William "Bill" Bartles (Emily) of McDonough and Steve Bartles (Becky) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a number of neices and nephews also survive.
