Funeral services for Mr. Johnny B. Booker of Atlanta, formerly of Milledgeville, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, beginning at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church 508 Ga Highway 49 West, Milledgeville. Remains will lie in state at 1 p.m. until the service hour. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Johnny entered into rest on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Atlanta, Ga. He was reared by the late Deacon James Potts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Booker and Frances Lee Foston.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Jacinta Kenyartta Booker (Rev. Tremaine Sr.) Johnson; siblings, Bertha (Marvin) Smith, Janice Potts-Butts of Milledgeville, Jeanette Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronnie Booker of Jacksonville, Fla.; aunts, Rebecca James, Helen Turner, Margarette Liggins, Christine Foston, Rev. Evelyn Foston, Fannie Mae Foston; grandchildren, Seanteria, Kaurma, Makayla, Tremaine, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
