Greensoboro, GA - John Miller Miles, Jr., 85, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at The Glen at Lake Oconee Village in Greensboro. Born in Gadsden, Alabama, on Sept. 21, 1939, he was the son of the late John Gurley Miles and Easter Pauline Miller Miles. John was a graduate of Glencoe High School in Glencoe, Alabama. He married Judith Ann Hodges in Gadsden, Alabama. The couple has resided in Greensboro for the past 25 years. John owned and operated his own business and was a member of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church. He was the owner of John Miles Chevrolet Buick GMC until his retirement. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Judith Ann Miles of Greensboro, Georgia; his son, John Michael Miles; daughter, Kimberly Ann Miles; sister, Dottie Richardson; six grandchildren: Chase McGee, Kelli Amos, Chad Miles, Emilie Peterson, Michelle Thompson and Christopher McCoy; and six great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Miles and Eddie Miles.
