Jay Milner Obituary

The Celebration of Life for Jay Andre' Milner will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church (viewing from 10 to 11 a.m.) with the Rev. Dr. Omer Reid officiating. The wake will be held on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at People's Funeral Home.

Jay transitioned on Feb. 17, 2019. He was born on Dec. 1, 1975, and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1994.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 18 years Stacey Hurt-Milner; his children Jazmin, Jalen and Jaxon; his parents, the Rev. James and Ella Milner; two siblings, Celena (Walker Watkins) Mondie-Milner and James (Fanisha) Milner III; nieces, Katherlene Milner, Jantenee Milner, Ja'Necia Milner; nephews, James Milner IV and Jase Watkins; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Jay was unique in that he touched the lives of many individuals of all ages and walks of life. Jay will always be cherished by his family and friends; he was an adored and honorable young man that will be greatly missed.
