Milledgeville - Gloria Boudoucies, 99, passed away on Aug. 16, 2025. The Memorial service will take place on Sept. 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Island Creek Baptist Church in Sparta, Georgia with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Gloria Boudoucies was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Vlass from Ithaca, Greece who came to America in 1909. She was the wife of Ignace George Boudoucies. She has lived her last 12 years in Milledgeville with her son George and his wife Lynne.

She is survived by her sons, George (Lynne) Boudoucies of Milledgeville, Jim (Lisa) Boudoucies of Jasper, Georgia, and John Boudoucies of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; grandchildren Michael Boudoucies (Kelly), Jessica Wood (Joe), John Batastini (Sue), Christine Aldridge (Frank), Kendall Baez (Carlos), James Boudoucies (Kenzie), Patrick Boudoucies (Leslie) and Dakota Boudoucies and 16 great grandchildren.
