Milledgeville - Frankie Susan "Sue" Key McDade, 73, of Milledgeville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025. Funeral services for Sue McDade will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Gardner officiating.
Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home following the service, but prior to the burial, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A native of Putnam County, Sue was born on Jan. 30, 1952, to the late Franklin Lanier Key and the late Mary Christine Parham Key. Sue lived most of her life in Milledgeville. She retired from the Medical Records Department of Central State Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward "Eddie" McDade Jr. of Milledgeville; her daughter, Elizabeth Shannon McDade of Macon; two sons, Brian Edward (Jill) McDade of Milledgeville, and Michael Shawn (Stephanie) McDade of Milledgeville; her sisters, Frances (Thomas) Emly of Montezuma, Ann (Terrell) Dixon of Eatonton, and Cathy (Rev. Grady Paul) Gardner; her brother, Richard (Shelia) Key of Eatonton; and two grandchildren, Addyson McDade, and Taylor Moore. Flowers will be accepted, but the family asks that those who wish, make Memorial contributions to the Mt. Ararat Church. Condolences may be expressed online at: www.williamsfuneral.net
