Evelyn Brown Griffin Obituary

Evelyn Brown Griffin, 77, of Eatonton, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017. Ms. Evelyn Griffin was born Nov. 30, 1939 in Gordon to the late Lester Brown and Ola Payne Brown. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going camping and RVing with the love of her life, Mr. Eugene Griffin, whom she married Aug. 12, 1957.

In addition to parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Darrell Griffin.

The visitation for Ms. Evelyn Griffin will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Evelyn Griffin is survived by her sons, Wally Griffin and Dale Griffin, and daughter, Wanda (Mark) Ciucci, all of Eatonton; stepchildren, Dane Raffield and Robin Griffin Martin; sister, Elizabeth Davis of Perry; grandchildren, Caleb (Rachel) Griffin of Covington, Christopher Deal of Eatonton, Dale (Kristi) Griffin Jr. of Milledgeville, Kandice Johnson of Eatonton and Meredith Lynn Ciucci of Eatonton; great-grandchildren, Cj Griffin, Issabelle Griffin, Rayden Johnson, Chloe Deal, Caroline Deal and Ryleigh Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family of Ms. Evelyn Griffin requests that memorial contributions be made to Serenity Place, 504 Parker Dairy Road, Dublin Ga., 31021
