Las Vegas, Nevada - David Elliott Jennings passed away Aug. 22, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nev. David was born Aug. 13, 1952, to James Longstreet Sibley Jennings Sr. and Eleanor McCullar Jennings.
David was a talented photographer, an avid reader and mechanically adept. He was especially proud of his time working on the set of the TV series, "In the Heat of the Night" when it was filmed in the Atlanta area. He enjoyed talking about his work, and about his younger life as a "military brat, " especially time spent in Germany. Later he attended Georgia Military College.
David is preceded in death by his mother and father, his beloved grandmother Bernice Brown McCullar, and his brother James Longstreet Sibley Jennings Jr.
He is survived by his sister Catherine Jennings Moirai of Knoxville, Tenn., his beloved cousin Lisa McCullar Pumphrey (Vance) of Denton, Texas, and cousins Matt McCullar of Ft. Worth, Texas and Scott McCullar of Houston, Texas.
David's ashes will be interred in Memory Hill Cemetery, Milledgeville, on Saturday Oct. 25, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
