Cora Patricia Manning Carr, 76, of East Dublin, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Crawford will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carr was born in Laurens County to the late Joseph James and Cora M. Ussery Manning. She was employed for many years with Forstman & Co. and later Edenfield Canteen. She retired after 15 years of dedicated service as manager of the East Dublin KFC. Mrs. Carr enjoyed reading, watching T.V. and gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Carr, and siblings, Doris E. Tanner, May Bell Harrison, Nannette Oaks and Talmadge Manning.

Survivors include her daughters, Kimberley A. Foskey (James) of Gordon, and Debroah A. Varner (Charles) of Wellford, S.C.; grandchildren, Krystal M. Williams, Blaire R. Hatfield and Haleigh R. Foskey; great-grandchildren, Matthew B. Johns Jr., Khloé M. Williams, Kallie A. Williams and Malaney M. Hatfield; sisters, Joyce Stokes, Rosa Landers and Mary June Manning Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
