Milledgeville - Mr. Charles H. Riley Jr., 90, passed away on Nov. 12, 2025. Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Riley was a native of Chattanooga, Tenn. and had made his home in Milledgeville since 1958. He taught at Youth Development Center for 29 years and was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Riley, a son, Thomas Edward Riley, his parents, Charles H. Riley, Sr. and Sarah James Riley, and a brother, John "Buddy" Riley.
Survivors include his sons, Charlie (Joni) Riley of Eatonton; Andy Riley (Jessica) of Dacula and Mark Riley of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Gabrielle Carter, Grayson Riley, Garrison Riley and Griffin Riley; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
