Margie "Catherine" Arnold of Milledgeville Georgia went home to Jesus on Sept. 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nashville, Georgia in 1932 and moved to Milledgeville in 1949 where she married Jonah Arnold. Catherine was a member of Northside Baptist Church for over 70 years and had many friends there who she loved dearly and who loved her. She was a former employee at McGaw Laboratories. Catherine was a Godly woman and prayed daily for her family and friends. Catherine loved quilting, gardening, cooking, her church (Northside Baptist), and spending time with loved ones. She was a loving mother to her three children, Jonah Arnold Jr. (Gail), Iris Lillard (Michael) and Jimmy Arnold (Kate). She was preceded in death by her husband Jonah Arnold Sr. She's also survived by her grandchildren, Sally Arnold (Patrick), Leslie Lillard (Taylor), and grandson Michael Arnold (Gigi), step grandchildren she loved as her own; Sherry Ketterman (Pete), and Matthew Lillard. Eleven great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine also had a cherished niece, Ruby Mixon, who she grew up with and loved as a sister.
