Carolyn Joan Morgan Obituary

Milledgeville, Georgia - Carolyn Joan Morgan, 84, of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville with the Rev. Mary Turner officiating.

Carolyn was born on Aug. 2, 1941, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to the late William Ferdinand Knoble Jr. and Effie Maxine Smith Knoble. She was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in education. She dedicated much of her life to teaching in the Baldwin County School System, where she was known for her kindness, patience and unwavering commitment to her students.

Outside the classroom, Carolyn found joy crocheting and needlepointing. She was also a devoted Bridge player and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Her warmth and good humor brightened every gathering, from church events to family celebrations.

A faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milledgeville, Carolyn's life reflected her deep faith and her love for others.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, David Morgan (Melissa) of Palm Bay, Florida; daughter, Elizabeth Knoble of Milledgeville, Georgia; grandchildren: Faith Morgan, Madison Conrad, Cheyenne Olson, Dale Conrad, Jo Usher, Shannon Knight and Alisha O'Donald; great grandchild, Destiny O'Donald; and sister, Patricia Loch of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville, 210 S. Wayne St., Milledgeville, Ga. 31061.
