Milledgeville - Blaine Altizer Duesing, 63, of Milledgeville, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, from 5 to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel. During this time, family and friends will be given the opportunity to share a memory or favorite anecdote about Blaine. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; 110 N. Jefferson St. NE; Milledgeville, GA 31061 at 10 a.m.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Blaine was born on Jan. 24, 1962, to the late Lacy Altizer and the late Jean Patterson Altizer. Blaine had made her home in Milledgeville since 2009. She earned her master's of science degree from Central Missouri State University. Blaine was a retired speech pathologist for Atrium-Navicent Baldwin and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Blaine is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert "Bob" Duesing of Milledgeville; her children, Drew Crouch of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jamie Duesing (& Draughon) of Wilmington, N. Carolina, Christina Duesing (& Vaughn) of Winter Park, Florida, Robert Duesing, Jr. of Southport, N. Carolina, and Stephen (& Hannah) Seeber of Southport, N. Carolina; her granddaughters, Daisy Melchor, Vanna Stewart, Mary Ann Seeber and Lucy Stewart; her great granddaughter, Violet Alvarez; her sister, Page (& Dave) Freeman of Kansas City, Missouri ; and her brother, Bryan (& Debbie) Altizer of Springfield, Missouri.
