Billy Gene Brack Obituary

Billy Gene Brack, 81, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. John Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Park.

Mr. Brack was born in Laurens County, Georgia on Jan. 1, 1944, to the late Lee Cleveland Brack and Willie Cannon Brack. He started his long career in business at Thumb's Service Station, was the service manager of Cochran Motors Company, and later at Lakeside Ford. He owned B&G Automotive in Milledgeville and then he owned and operated Southside Equipment Company for over 35 years along with his rental property.

Survivors include his children, Joey D. Brack (Eve) of Greensboro, Randy L. Brack (Sue) of Milledgeville, Kevin D. Brack (Leigh) of Gray; stepsons, Jay Peavy (Cecilia) of Milledgeville and Ronnie Peavy of Sandersville; a sister, Margaret B. Brickle of Macon; 11 grandchildren Copelan (T.J.) Butler, Liz Hunter Brack, Felicia (Ryan) McDonel, Rusty (Jessica) Elliott, Noah (Graci), Abigail, Jonah, Asher, Anna Leigh, Kelli Peavy, Will Peavy and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
