Betty Sue Haddock
Betty Sue Haddock, 88, passed away February 5, 2015, in Vero Beach Florida. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, October 7, 2016, at Memory Hill Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia. Mrs Haddock was born January 23, 1927, in Fort Pierce, Florida. She moved to Haddock to continue her employment with the Cherokee Canning Company. She married Alonza Lane Haddock on June 13, 1951, and became a lifelong resident of Haddock. She was a member of Haddock United Methodist Church. Betty Sue worked for the cannery in Haddock and JP Stevens Mill Works in Milledgeville and Dublin until her retirement. She was the executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO of JP Stevens Company in Dublin. At her request, her body was donated to a University for medical research. She was preceded in death by her husband: Alonza Lane Haddock on March 5, 1998. Betty Sue is survived by her nephew: Wayne Harrison and his wife: Frances of Vero Beach, Florida and her great-nephew: Michael Harrison of South Orange, New Jersey.
