Milledgeville - Mrs. Ann Harris Andrews, 92, formerly of Highway 16 Sparta, passed away at Fellowship Meriwether in Milledgeville on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, following an extended illness. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at the Sparta Baptist Church, with burial in Culverton Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Brian Hill and the Rev. Jerry Bradley will officiate. Walter Reynolds, Steven Reynolds, Dawson Harris, Blanton Wayne Harris and Mark Giles will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Andrews' family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Ann Harris Andrews was born and reared in Hardwick, daughter of the late Ivey Lee Harris, Sr. and the late Nora Kilgore Harris. She was affectionately known as "Annie Lou" by family and close friends. Ann attended Midway School and graduated from Peabody High School in Milledgeville. Most of her working career was with Georgia Power, retiring after 30 years of service as an accounting secretary. Ann was an active member of the Sparta Baptist Church where she served as church treasurer and a faithful member of the church choir. She loved flowers, growing them and displaying them in her home. She loved to cook and was known for her layered chocolate cakes and homemade bread. She and her late husband, Stoy Ray Andrews, enjoyed extensive travel together. Ann displayed her collection of ceramic Santa Claus figures in her dining room year-round, she treasured each one as a precious gift from her sister, Lucille. In addition to her parents and husband, Ann is also predeceased by her siblings, Ivey Lee Harris Jr., James Harris, Frances Lunsford, Walter J. Harris Sr. and Johnnie Harris.

Survivors include siblings, Lucile H. Dyal and George Harris, both of Milledgeville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
