Bob, Grandaddy Bob or just plain Grandaddy was born in 1929 and grew up through the great depression. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution and served as a Lieutenant in the US Army during the Korean war. He was a Civil Engineer with Central State Hospital retiring with 32 years of service as Chief Engineer. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville.
Bob loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved this country, the USA. He LOVED the Lord Jesus and thanked Him multiple times a day for all His many blessings. He has literally traveled around the world more than once. He loved deer hunting and fishing almost more than anything, except for his loving wife, children and the Lord. This past season he got two deer and climbed a tree with a tree climber at 87.
Survivors include his wife Juanita S. McMillan of Jones County, a son Robert W. McMillan, IV (Laura) of Woodstock and a daughter Maria Caraballo (Marcelo) of Woodstock, two brothers Dan McMillan (Jan) of Milledgeville and Michael McMillan (Joy) of St. Simons, a sister Alice Jackson (Mike) of Newnan, 4 grandchildren Gabriella Roberts (Anthony), Marcela, Neale and Brice and a great grandchild Oliver Roberts.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 3PM at First Presbyterian Church.
