Juanita Peavy's Story
Juanita Peavy Hardee, 91, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Northside Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating. Burial will follow at West View Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardee was a native and resident of Milledgeville. She retired from Central State Hospital with 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Lee and Belle Layfield Peavy; her husband, Wyndal; daughter, Wynell; son, Lamar; son-in-law, David; two grandchildren, Phaedra and Kirstie; two brothers and seven sisters. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, the Gospelaires, Carpenter's for Christ and Good Sam's Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan H. Rodgers; her grandson, Josh Rodgers (Jamey); great-granddaughter, Ellie Hargrove; sisters, Barbara Larson and Shirley Etheridge; all of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
