Willie Roger's Story
Willie Roger Clark, 81, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Black Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Clark was a native of Hancock County but had made his home in Baldwin County. He was retired from Central State Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Edward and Enda Clark; his wife, Gwendolyn Lewis Clark; sister, Kay Clark and brother, Benny Clark. Mr. Clark was an avid hunter and a lover of old Westerns.
Survivors include his children, Teresa Torrance (Jim), Roger Clark, Terri Davis (Tim) and Mark Clark all of Milledgeville; brothers, James Edward Clark and Jerry Clark (Mary Ann) all of Sparta; sisters, Barbara Goldman (Milton) of Thomson, Joann Harned (Ben), Lilly Mae Capehart and Ruthie Sheeley (Randy) all of Sandersville; three grandchildren, Brianna Lee Clark, Arrah Torrance and Nathan Torrance and three great-grandchildren, Callie Braxley, Jordan West and Elijah West.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
