Sybil Wilson's Story
Sybil Wilson Bloodworth age 83, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. Services will be held at 2PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bloodworth was a native of Baldwin County and had made her home on Lake Sinclair for the past 50 years. She served as City Clerk for the City of Milledgeville for over 20 years and later worked at Fowler Flemister Concrete retiring in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband John Bernard Bloodworth. She was a devoted wife and mother, and she loved reading, gardening and spending time on the Georgia Coast.
Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Bloodworth Greeson of St. Simons Island, Brenda Bloodworth Brabham and partner Terry Mullis of Milledgeville, Rita Bloodworth McCurdy (Michael) of Macon, a grandchild Megan Brabham Glover (Jake), and two great grandchildren, Brylee Grace Glover and Brayden John Glover.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 8, from 1 until 2PM at Moores Funeral Home.
