Sarah Florence's Story
The death of Mrs. Sarah Florence Stevenson, age 75, occurred Tuesday evening May 9, 2017. Funeral services will be held Friday May 12, at the Gordon First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Curry and Rev. Maxie Threatt officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery.
Mrs. Stevenson was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Sarah Parker Parham and her husband Johnny W. Stevenson. She was a member of the Gordon First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending her time baking cakes and taking meals to folks who were not able to prepare their own.
Survivors include her children; Angie Bloodworth (Reid) of McIntyre, Johnny W. Stevenson, Jr. (Evelyn) of Gordon, Julie S. Harrison of Macon, Christopher S. Stevenson of Gordon, and Mallory Dykes (Jason) of Duluth. 8 grandchildren, Will Stevenson, Katie Stevenson, Blake Harrison, Jenna Harrison, Garrett Harrison, Blaine Harrison, Stacy Malone, and Steven Bloodworth (Tiffany), two great grandchildren, Austin Bloodworth and Mathew Kowalczyk.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
