The Sisters of the Lambda Pi Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority invite you to a memorial service for Sandra Hensley Moore Glaser on July 15, 2017 at 11 am. The service will be conducted at the Delta Zeta House located at 311 West Montgomery Street, Milledgeville, GA. Following the service friends are invited to gather for a celebration of her life at a location to be announced.
Sandra was born on May 9, 1955. She spent most of her childhood in Forest Park, GA. After graduating from Forest Park High School, Sandra attended Georgia College in Milledgeville where she received a degree in biology. She was a member of the first local sorority on campus, Alpha Pi Omega, and was instrumental in the sorority's transition to national status as Delta Zeta in 1975. Sandra also served as the president of this Lambda Pi Chapter. Upon graduating, Sandra worked for the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Sandra and her husband, Bob, retired to La Jolla, California, where they shared many wonderful times at their home at La Jolla Beach, traveling, hiking and playing tennis with their friends. Sandra passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. A celebration of her life was held on April 30, 2017 in La Jolla, California.
Sandra Moore Glaser is survived by her husband Bob, four brothers, Wimp Hensley (Jo Anne), Henry Hensley (Ann), Donald Hensley (Betty) and Billy Hensley (Nancy), one sister, Nancy Boyd (Kenneth), 2 aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
