Mrs. Davis was a native of Atlanta and had lived in Milledgeville all of her life. She was the daughter of the late, Walter Edward and Gloria Anne Heath Philips. She liked old movies, crocheting, and crafting. She was sweet, caring, funny and loved animals, her children, and especially her grandchildren. She loved being with family as often as possible. Grandchildren's ballgames, spending the weekends together laughing, enjoying meals with each other and spending time outside looking at nature. Birthdays were one of her favorite times; her loved ones could always count on a special birthday song from her. She has always been the first to let her family know how happy she was for all of their accomplishments. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and had recently been attending Northridge Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Davis; children, Daun Dykes (Keylan), Rusty Ramage, and Kathy Cox (Wade), all of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Jennifer Minshew (David), Nikki Mills (Cody), Keylan Dykes Jr., Tyler Ramage (Kaitlin), Chandler Ramage (Alyssa Adkins), David Meeks, Peyton Ramage, Joseph Cox and Josh Cox; great grandchild, Dawson Minshew, and Livie Mills; sisters, Marsha Philips (Jim) of New Orleans, Pamela Fyfe (Alastair) of California, Sandra and Carmen of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and other special family and friends.
Flowers accepted and for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
