REBA's Story

Mrs. Reba Edwards Vaughan, 90, passed away June 29, 2017. Visitation and a celebration of her life will be held at Williams Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 pm in Milledgeville GA. Mrs. Vaughan was born in Little Rock, AK but lived most of her life in Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC, before moving to Milledgeville in 2004. Mrs. Vaughan received her Bachelors Degree from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Before she retired, she was employed by the Department of Social Services in Charlotte, NC and was currently a member of First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville. Mrs. Vaughan is preceded in death by her husband R.R. Vaughan Jr., parents, John Roddey Edwards, Jr. and Reba Irvin Edwards and her son Russell Roddey Vaughan. She is survived by her daughters; Dianne Vaughan Moore (Claude), Cheryl Vaughan Stahlecker (HansPeter) in Eislingen,Germany, sisters; Wanda Edwards Cook of Beaufort, SC., Juanita Edwards Bell (Paul) of Aiken, SC, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family may receive flowers or memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville or to the Alzheimer's Association of Middle GA.
