Margaret Collins, 81, of Dublin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017.
Mrs. Collins was born in Laurens County to the late Richard Frank and Winnie Walters Cullens, Sr. and was a retired nurse having worked many years at Central State Hospital and the Baldwin County Hospital. She was also a volunteer for Hospice of Baldwin County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felda Arthur "Pete" Collins, Sr.; son, Felda Arthur Collins, Jr.; siblings, Frank Cullens, Lester Cullens, Hattie Mae Garner, Louise Evans, and Frances Martin; nephew, Gene Garner, and niece, Mary Evans.
She is survived by daughter, Kaci Collins (John Leone), of Milledgeville; grandchild, Toni Collins (Andy Glass), of NC; nephew, Robert Lester (Kathy) Cullens, of Bolingbroke; nieces, Janet Moskaly (Edward), of Warner Robins, Juanita Cullens Chancey (Courtney), of Monroe, and Bertie Garner, of Dublin, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at Centerville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. in Baldwin Memorial Gardens in Milledgeville. The Rev. Ken Brogden will officiate.
