Mr. Lucius "Luke" Oscar Paradise, 84, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville with Dr. Frank Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
Mr. Paradise was a native of Lincolnton and had made his home in Eatonton for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late Osborne Bartow Paradise and Etta Mae Shope Paradise Jackson; and is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Mae Bonner Paradise; son, Raymond Paradise; and grandson, Rick Paradise. He owned and operated Paradise Landscaping and was a member and deacon of Bethel Baptist Church, and a member of the Local 926 Operating Engineers.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Green (Tim) of Eatonton; sons, Ricky Paradise of Eatonton and Dennis Paradise (Teresa) of Toomsboro; sisters, Ann Wilson of Macon, Frances Sandifer of Chicamagua, Reba Hice (Ronnie) of Lafayette and Jackie Spurling of Lafayette; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
