Louise  Rovelli

Ida "Louise" Brooks Rovelli, 92, of Milledgeville, joined her Lord and Savior April 17, 2019, at Pine Point Hospice Care in Macon, Georgia. Louise was born on October 18, 1926 in Milledgeville. She was the youngest daughter of the late Horace Erskine Brooks and the late Georgia Miller Brooks, of Milledgeville.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore John Rovelli. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Rovelli Heaton of Milledgeville, Georgia Rovelli Shaw, and husband Dennis Shaw of Westchester, New York, and Sandy Rovelli Pearle and husband, Eric Pearle of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Scott Walter Heaton, Todd Michael Heaton, Vanessa Shaw Staviski, Daniel Michael Shaw, Marissa Shaw Sandoval, and Kate Shaw Piediscalzo, Payton Louise Kerr, Kevin Donald Kerr and Cameron Marie Kerr; great grandchildren, Joseph Theodore Heaton, Aubrey Michelle Heaton, Blake Oliver Brumfield, Carly Jane Brumfield, Luke Daniel Shaw, Brooklyn Julianna Shaw, Lorenzo Brooks Piediscalzo.
Surviving siblings include Jane Brooks Silva and Horace Erskine Brooks, Jr. of Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by siblings Edgar Brooks, Agnes Chesser, Ruby Beauregard, Elizabeth Filaci, Rebecca Ross, Jack Brooks and Eugene Brooks.
Louise had many accomplishments in her lifetime. She had her own Real Estate Brokerage Firm, Rovelli Real Estate, in New Milford, New Jersey, prior to relocating to Milledgeville where she became co-owner and operator, with her daughter, Carolyn Rovelli Heaton, of The Kuntry Stoe on Linton Road in Milledgeville. She served the community for many years, where she was best known as "Miss Louise."
A country girl at heart, who never forgot her southern roots, she was most known for her bright smile and generous heart. She touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. Her great spirit and loving heart will live on in the lives of the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service in honor of her life was held at 10 a.m. May 10, 2019 at sacred Heart Catholic Church in Milledgeville. Following the service, the family gathered graveside at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia where she will rest with her husband Theodore "Ted" Rovelli.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pine Point Hospice Care, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31222.
Moores Funeral Home & Crematory had charge of arrangements.
