Lillian Louise Demmon's Story
Lillian Louise Demmon Pierce age 91, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Black Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pierce was born in Milledgeville and lived in Connecticut and New York State before moving back to Milledgeville. She was retired from Proctor & Gamble. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Red Hatters, she was active in Café Central and was a member of Black Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Blevins and James Pierce and two grandchildren Mark Pierce and Debra Carnrike.
Survivors include her daughters, Marlene Clark and Kathy Urbanovsky both of Milledgeville and Donna Phillips (David) of Concord, NC, a brother Theodore Demmon of Oneonta, NY, three sisters Beatrice Gwynne and Patricia Bradway of Shelton, CT and Loraine Brookins of Milledgeville, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
