Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Roseville, Iowa. Officiating will be Deacon Matt Miller. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the church school. Following services she will be cremated and returned home to be with her husband. A memorial service will be held later in Milledgeville.
Kay was the daughter of Edgar "Ted" and Margaret "Osier" Gabel and was born on April 16, 1947, in Charles City, Iowa. She graduated from the Charles City High School with the class of 1965. She was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" Leslie Biddick on July 23, 1966, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Roseville. After Chuck's graduation from Iowa State University they made their home in Rock Island, Ill. and then moved to Stone Mountain, Ga. in 1968. She has called Georgia home ever since. She worked for a record distribution company and then in the office with American Motors Company. In 1989 they moved to Milledgeville, Ga. on Lake Sinclair. She retired in 2015 but still remained a part-time employee in the financial aid department of Georgia College & State University.
In her spare time, she followed her children to all of their sporting events, which created a lifelong love of all types of sports, especially anything with Auburn University and NASCAR. She was a lover of dogs and cats, reading True Murder Mysteries, and all of her adopted grandkids.
Those surviving Kay are her two children, Kimberly Kay Biddick and Stanley Charles Biddick, both of Millbrook, Ala.; her siblings, Jean Curley of Mason City, and two brothers, Roger (Paulette) Gabel and David (Deborah) Gabel all of Rockford, Iowa. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and a multitude of extend family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Chuck, on April 3, 2016, and her parents.
Arrangements are with Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Blunt, Charles City, Iowa 50616 641-228-4211. www.Fullertonfh.com, Facebook/Fullertonfuneralhomes

Mrs. Biddick was one of my favorite people from my days at Georgia College, both as a student and a fellow employee. I am saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her friends and family.
