Janice Harville's Story

Janice Harville Watson age 70 passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 1, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Gunn officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County.
Mrs. Watson was a native of Laurens County but had made her home in Milledgeville. She graduated from Tift College and received her Masters and Middle School Specialist Degree from Georgia College. She was a teacher at Baldwin and Jones County High School and retired with 25 years of service. She was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Lynn H. Watson of Milledgeville, a son Marcus Clayborn Watson (Michelle) of Blackshear, two daughters Lisa R. Watson of Dublin and Jolynn Watson Aubry (Len) of Milledgeville, a sister Juanita Perry (Mickey) of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, Justin Alan Hall, Ben Fulghum, Jr., Lily Grace Watson, Ace Gabriel Watson, Rebekah Anne Aubry and Burke Watson Aubry.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 30, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Moores Funeral Home.
The family request memorial contributions be made to Island Creek Baptist Church.
