James "Milton"'s Story
Mr. James "Milton" Lyle, 90, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville. Interment will follow in Heritage Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 PM until the service hour.
Mr. Lyle was a native of Crawfordville and had made his home in Milledgeville since 1958. He was the son of the late John Clinton and Anna Jones Lyle. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. Mr. Lyle was a cattle farmer and retired from Windstream after 35 years of service. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the CIA Sunday school class.
He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Langford Lyle of Milledgeville; daughters, Cynthia (Robert) Lyle Bush of Eatonton, and Ginger (Chris) Lyle Thompson of Rincon; grandchildren, Anna Thompson, Austin Thompson, Brandon Bush and Jordan Bush.
Flowers are accepted and for those who wish, expressions of sympathy may be made to Northside Baptist Church.
