James H. "Jim"'s Story
James H. "Jim" Adams, 77, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Janet Cavin officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Adams was born in Richmond County, GA but had made his home in Milledgeville. He worked for J.P. Stevens, American Coach, J&M Trucking and later at Grumman Aerospace until his retirement. He was a member of Montpelier United Methodist Church and was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Bess Estes Adams of Milledgeville; three sons, Jeff Adams (Melissa) of Macon, James H. Adams, Jr. and Coy Adams (Cindy) all of Milledgeville; seven grandchildren, Eli Adams, Ella Grace Adams, William Michael Adams, Savanna Adams, Brittany Adams, Jimmy Adams and Alexis Adams; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Elizabeth and a godchild, Thomas Maroney.
