Inez Dent's Story
Inez Dent Campbell, 82, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. James Price and the Rev. Sammy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Campbell was a native of Laurens County but had made her home in Milledgeville. She worked at Central State Hospital, retiring as a supervisor with 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, William David and Veola Alligood Dent, and her husband, Claude Benjamin Campbell. Mrs. Inez was a charter member of Riverside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was the church song leader.
Survivors include her son, Richard Campbell (Nonie), five daughters, Kay Niblett (Tommy), Fay Leverett (Gary) and Vickie Brookins all of Milledgeville, Sherry Farr of Stanley, N.C. and Sandy Porter of Lamar, Mo., 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
