Harry McDade, 82, passed away Thursday July 27, 2017. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. McDade was a native and resident of Milledgeville. He was an insurance salesman and retired from Chambers Oil and C&H Bus Lines. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and served during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Bonnie Chance McDade, a daughter, Suzanne Giles, and a granddaughter, Samantha Rae Giles, three brothers, Jimmy McDade, Francis McDade and Roy McDade.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita McDade, three sons, Alan McDade, Steve McDade and Rocky McDade and all of Milledgeville; two brothers, Harvey McDade of Milledgeville and Johnny McDade of Valdosta, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
