George Thomas's Story
Funeral services for Mr. George Thomas Bloodworth will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville with the Rev. Tim Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Celebrate Recovery c/o Freedom Church, 500 Underwood Rd., Milledgeville, GA 31061.
Mr. Bloodworth, 69, passed away on Oct. 12, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County. He was predeceased by his wife, Brenda Jones Bloodworth, his parents, Rex and Edna Wood Bloodworth, a sister, Doris Ivey and a brother, Marvin Bloodworth.
He was retired from Central State Hospital as a correctional officer and was a member of Freedom Church.
Survivors include his son, Michael Bloodworth; granddaughters, Brittany Bloodworth of Atlanta and Gracie Bloodworth of Milledgeville; brothers, Glen (Emily) Bloodworth of Mansfield and John (Melanie) Bloodworth of Cross City, FL; sister-in-law, Diane Bloodworth of Lithonia and brother-in-law, Glenn Ivey of Milledgeville.
