Frances Conner's Story
Frances Conner Lovins, 83, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lovins was a native of Wilkinson County but has made her home in Milledgeville. She worked with Oconee Regional Medical Center where she was head of housekeeping, retiring with over 30 years of service. After her retirement she spent her time working in the prison ministry for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Talmage and Birma Wakins Conner, and a son, Tony Wood.
Survivors include her husband Gantt Lovins; two daughters, Robin Woodcock (Randy) of Guyton, and Terry Davis (Wilse) of Milledgeville; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
