Clifford Earnest's Story
Clifford Earnest Yearwood age 74, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Chapel of All Faiths on the Campus of Central State Hospital on Swint Avenue with Rev. David Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Black Springs Church Cemetery.
Mr. Yearwood was a native and life-long resident of Milledgeville and was retired from Central State Hospital with 34 years of service. He was a member of the Baldwin County School Board where he served as chairman for several years. Mr. Yearwood was a member of the National Iris Society and National Daylily Society. He was preceded in death by his parents Earnest Rolland Yearwood and Lorene Eloise Lynch Yearwood and a sister Peggy Jo Yearwood Snow. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Juanita Yearwood of Milledgeville, two daughters Sabrina Yearwood Reddick (Jamie) and Shalon Yearwood (Mao Nay) both of Milledgeville, a sister Jennie Yearwood of Tifton, three beloved grandchildren Meikel Yearwood, Jaidin Nay, and Kyla Reddick, God-daughters Adair Uhler Wood (Andrew) and Cindy White and the Joe Scott and Janet Watson Family along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
