Mr. Charles Wyman Parker, 68, passed away on Feb. 14, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the service to visit with friends.
Mr. Parker was a native of Hancock County and had spent much of his life in Milledgeville. He was the son of the late James William Parker and the late Betty Elaine Pound Parker and was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Parker. He was a retired paint contractor and a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church. He had been a member of the Jaycees and was a former Toys for Tots chairman.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Parker; children, Sherry McDuffie (James); Bill Parker; Angela Lambroff, Christopher Lambroff, Nicholas Lambroff; nine grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Youmans of Nashville, Ga., Mary Helen Parker of Dublin, and Emma Woodard of Macon; brothers, Johnny Parker of Milledgeville, and Donald Parker of Gray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church.
