Brian Eli Cogsdil, 36, of McIntyre, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018. Brian was born Nov. 29, 1981, in Pascagoula, Miss. to Jimmy Ray Cogsdil and Ann Scarborough. He grew up in Warner Robins, and had lived in Wilkinson County since 2015. Brian was a graduate of Central Georgia Tech, and was a machinist with Mercer University Engineering and Research Center. Brian was a fair man, a good husband, and the best son ever. He is now in the arms of Jesus.
Brian is survived by: his wife, Hope Hatfield Cogsdil of McIntyre; two daughters, Natalie and McKinley; his mother, Ann Scarborough of Saucier, Miss.; his father, Jimmy Ray (Jennie) Cogsdil of Milton, Fla.; his sister, Kristin (Stan) Hetes of Woodstock; and nieces and nephews, Galen, Gracie, Joe and Hannah; and his Mercer Research family.
Funeral services for Brian Cogsdil will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will be private.

Brian and I were very close friends in high school. He was a great friend and made me a better person just for knowing him . My condolences to his family .
